- The main event of Survivor Series has been changed to Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels for the WWF title. It's going to be a hard-sell since both guys have been midcarders for so long that fans probably won't buy this match as being worthy of a PPV main event (can you imagine?).
- Ric Flair is out of action having suffered an ear injury known as "cupilathias" (fun fact: this word pulls up literally zero Google results. What the fuck Dave?). It's basically broken nerve endings in the ear, from Warrior potatoing Flair in a house show match. This is the reason the Bret/Flair title change match was primarily mat-based wrestling, because Flair was too dizzy to even do most of his signature spots.
- Vince McMahon and Hulk Hogan had a meeting this week about Hogan coming back soon, but as of press time, Dave has heard no details.
- Still nothing new on the Warrior situation. He's still booked for upcoming house shows, but things are apparently tense.
- Scott Steiner still hasn't worked any shows since his blow-up with Bill Watts last week. Steiner is the current TV champion and WCW definitely wants to get him back for at least one show so he can drop the title. But Steiner has told them that he now has a thigh injury and his doctor doesn't want him to work for 3 more weeks. There's now uncertainty whether or not Scott will be back to drop the title before his contract expires. Regardless, barring some last minute miracle, the Steiners are done with WCW and will start with WWF in early 93. Dave says it was stupid of WCW to put the title on Scott in the first place this close to his contract expiring, knowing how unhappy he is with the company and with his reputation for not liking to do jobs. If Scott doesn't come back to lose the title, Dave says they should just drop the belt altogether because WCW already has enough titles that don't mean anything.
- Dave dedicates a paragraph to raving about Mexican wrestler Eddie Guerrero and says that some U.S. promotion needs to bring him in ASAP. He says that Chavo Guerrero Sr. was a big draw in the southwestern U.S. in the 1970s and that Eddie is even better than Chavo was.
- Andre The Giant is scheduled to work on the All Japan tour from 11/14 through 12/4, doing tag matches (this would turn out to be Andre's final run. That 12/4 show is his last match ever). AJPW is also reportedly working towards bringing back Ted Dibase to team with Stan Hansen next year, but Dave doesn't see that happening since he's still with WWF and all.
- NWA champion Masa Chono is still working hurt in Japan after sustaining a neck injury in a match with Steve Austin a few weeks ago.
- Dave notes that there are 15 different active wrestling promotions operating in Japan, but that it's not sustainable to have that many companies competing with each other and that several are already on the verge of failing.
- Matt Borne's character will be named Doink The Clown and he'll be a heel clown. He should be working his first matches in the clown suit at the next tapings.
- Rumor is The Mountie might be leaving in a few months when his contract is up. Meanwhile, Sid Justice is expected to get his release from WWF this week and then he'll be free to go work for another company. Best bet is Japan, Dave says and then adds, "And they'll be sorry as well."
- All newspaper and radio advertising for upcoming house shows has been changed to say "ICOPRO presents the World Wrestling Federation." Speaking of, the latest issue of Sports Supplements Buyers Guide reviewed ICOPRO and gave it a thumbs down and wrote a scathing paragraph burying the failure of the WBF and ICOPRO.
- Animal & Crush won't be performing as the new Legion of Doom after all. Most likely Animal will just stay solo. Although neither will say it publicly, the split between Hawk and Animal is less than amicable. Both men blame the other for not keeping the group together (Animal mad at Hawk for leaving, Hawk mad at Animal for not coming with him).
- The new entrance music for 11 different WCW wrestlers will be released on a wrestling album called Slam Jam I by Jimmy Papa (the same guy who worked with Michael Hayes on the Bad Street album). All wrestlers will be using their new music at the PPV this weekend or the upcoming Clash of Champions.

- The latest WCW TV taping was pretty much the Erik Watts show, with him involved in multiple matches and segments. Needless to say, the reason is obvious.
- Things are tenuous with Paul E. Dangerously's position in the company, "because of things that have nothing to do with his performing ability." In other words, Watts doesn't like him and is trying to get rid of him.
- There's talk of putting Brian Pillman and Chris Benoit together as a team whenever Benoit finally debuts.
